	The story of Spanish radio personality Pedro J. Gonzalez whose radical civil rights views inspired a political witchhunt that landed him in San Quentin prison. Gonzales (played here by popular Mexican singer Oscar Chavez) rose to fame on L.A. radio during the Great Depression. Gonzales's outspoken views created quite a stir with the political system he was fighting on the airwaves every day. This 1988 Mexican film ends in a trial where Gonzales demonstrated that the city was destined for economic despair.
